Biographical Description

Arthur Bryant was born in Perquimans County, North Carolina in about 1728. In 1761 Bryant became a member of the Society of friends, or the Quakers, in Northampton County, North Carolina. Later a resident of Dobbs County, Bryant sold a parcel of land to Thomas Saint, a Quaker, in 1771. He died in Wayne County, North Carolina in about 1811.
