Biographical Description

Kate Ancrum Johnson (née Burr) was born February 14, 1881, in Morganton, North Carolina. Johnson dedicated her life to social work, holding many titles and positions in state government over the course of her career. She died in Raleigh (Wake County) on August 22, 1968.
