Biographical Description
William Rankin Goley was born on April 5, 1853, in Alamance County, North Carolina. Rankin was a physician in the town of Graham, North Carolina. In August 1920, he provided testimony in an investigation into an attempted lynching in Alamance County. Rankin died in Graham on November 26, 1934.
