Dear Sir:
We will have in process construction about 50 miles of road as soon as same can be surveyed, and in order to build these roads any time soon, it will require some convict labor. We would like to make application to the penitentiary board for 75 or 100 men for this work. We would be glad for you to consider this seriously when your board meets, and if you will advise when it is to meet, we will have a small delegation to see you and present the matter in detail.
Our county is waking up on the road question, and this will help us no little.
