Know all men by these presents that I Jesse Radford of Yancy County North Carolina duly qualified administrator of Ruth Edwards deceased a pensioner of the United States, do hereby Constitute and appoint Elijah Fuller my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to receive from the agent of the united states for paying Pensions in Fayetteville State of North Carolina the array of Pension due me from the 4th. day of September 1845 to the 16th day of November 1845. Witness my hand and Seal this 15th day of April 1846.

Be it Known that on the 15 day of April 1846 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for Said County personally appeared Jesse Radford above named and acknowledged the foregoing Power of Attorney to be his Act and deed, In testemony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year last above mentioned

I Isaac C Wilson, Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarter sessions for Yancy County Certify that it has been given in evidence to the satisfaction of said Court that Ruth Edwards a Pensioner of the United States died on the 16th day of November 1845 and that Jesse Radford whose name appears to the above power of attorney is her duly Qualified Administrator

I also further Certify that Saml. L. Wilson is a magistrate as above and that the foregoing Signatures purporting to be his are genuine.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto affixed my seal of Office and Subscribed my name this 15th day of April 1846
