Gov. T. W. Bickett
Raleigh N.C.

Dear Sir.

My Husband was drafted in Military service Oct 10, 1917 and he alloted me $20.00 of his salary and I have only got one twenty dollar check of his salary, and havent got any extra money from the Government and I have been advised that the Government is supposed to give me $15.00 extra to my allowance from my husband.

I am wholly dependent upon my husband for support and I cannot do on $20.00 The Government must pay me or I must have my husband home My health is very bad and I have no property and am not able to work. The check I got was for Oct. time and I am sorely in need of money.

The Chirman of the local board promised to get my money, but I think he didn't do any thing, about it. I have written Commission of Military and Naval Insurance but didnt get any answer.

Anything you will do for me will be greatly appreciated look after this matter for me please and write me about it.

My husband name and address is
