My dear Sheriff:

I am in receipt of a letter from Siler City, alleging that Lon H. Petty, Billie Brown and Elmer Perry are notorious blockaders, and are within the draft age. If there is any foundation to this letter please have the Local Exemption Board to put all three of these men in Class 1, regardless of any claims they may make, and send them to camp.
