Biographical Description
William Harvey Manning was born on December 4, 1894, in Bethel, North Carolina. Manning was a farmer in the Bethel community of Pitt County when he registered for the draft (World War I) in June 1917. He died in Rocky Mount (Nash County) on October 15, 1950.
