Biographical Description

Archibald Corrie (d. c1779) was a resident of Tyrrell County. He represented Tyrrell in the Fourth Provincial Congress in 1776 and in the North Carolina General Assembly in 1777. As a justice of the peace for Tyrrell, he received many depositions from residents of that county who had been involved in the Gourd Patch Conspiracy.
