Biographical Description
James Walker Osborne was born in Salisbury, North Carolina on December 25, 1811. A lawyer in Charlotte, North Carolina, Osborne worked as the superintendent of the U.S. Mint branch at Charlotte from 1849 to 1853. He died in Charlotte on August 10, 1869.
