Agnes Robison was born in North Carolina in about 1768. During the American Revolution after her mother died, she helped care for her younger siblings while their stepmother was away. She later moved to Greene County, Tennessee with her parents, where she married Andrew English in 1790. After English's death she married James Johnson in 1798. In 1837 she made an affidavit in support of her stepmother Mary Robison's widow's pension application. She died, likely in Greene County, sometime after 1850.
