Mrs. Rufus Durham,
Tryon, N.C.

My dear Mrs. Durham:-

Your letter just received, and the only way for you to do is to go to some lawyer at Tryon, have a warrant sworn out against your son for engaging in the liquor business, and then let him be sent to the Stonewall Jackson Training School at Concord, N.C. Any lawyer will be glad to handle this for you without charging you anything.

Very truly yours,

[unsigned]
