North Carolina, Edgecombe County
In Superior Court, May 12th 1875

Be it Remembered that at a Superior Court of Law opened and held for the county of Edgecombe at the court house in Tarboro, on the tenth Monday after the third Monday in February A.D. 1875 it being the 26th day of April AD 1875. Honorable W. A. Moore presiding. The following Judgement was pronounced against the persons herein after named, To wit.

State vs. David Davis
Larceny—
Judgement of the Court—
That the defendant David Davis be confined for three (3) years & six (6) months in the States prison.

State vs. Simon Braswell
Larceny—
Judgement of the Court—
That the defendant Simon Braswell be confined two (2) years in State's prison.

State vs. Thomas Crawford 
Larceny.
Judgement of the Court that the Defendant Thomas Crawford be confined two (2) years in State's prison—

State vs. Henry Wilson
Larceny—
Judgement of the Court that the defendant Henry Wilson be confined for two (2) years in the State's prison

State vs. Allen Lyon
Assault with intent to commit Rape—
Judgement of the Court that the defendant Allen Lyon be confined for Fifteen (15) years in the State's prison.

State vs. Charles Lynch
Larceny—
Judgement of the Court that the Defendant Charles Lynch be confined three (3) years in the State's prison.

I H. L. Staton Jr. Clerk of the Superior Court of Law of the county of Edgecombe, do hereby certify that the foregoing contains a full, true & perfect transcript of the record of said court, in the above recited cases of the state against said parties—
