Dear Mr. Breece:

In compliance with your request of April 19th the Governor is today issuing commissions to the officers of Pembroke.

I note that the bill authorizing the Governor to appoint your town officers states that he may name a mayor and four commissioners. However, your petition asks for only three commissioners. If you want a fourth one appointed, send in his name, and a commission will be issued. I thought that you might have overlooked the fact that the bill entitled you to four.
