To: Major John W. Long, Greensboro, North Carolina.

Subject: Overseas Service.

1. You are advised that it is contemplated to complete the mobilization of Base Hospital No. 65, at an early date, for service overseas.

2. If it is your desire to accompany this unit overseas, you should submit your resignation to the Governor of North Carolina as his Medical Advisor, and have him accept same in order that you may be available for assignment to this duty.

3. You will advise this office at once, indicating the action taken.
