WAR DEPARTMENT
THE ADJUTANT GENERAL'S OFFICE
WASHINGTON

SG 370.7 113th F. A.
(Misc. Div.) SRS/MPH

March 11, 1919.

Honorable T. W. Bickett,
Governor of North Carolina,
Raleigh, N.C.

Dear Sir:

The Secretary of War directs me to inform you that the 113th Field Artillery is now enroute to the United States on board the transport Santa Teresa. It is due to land at Newport News, Va. about March 19th.

It is intended to send the majority of this regiment to Camp Jackson, South Carolina for demobilization.

The number going to Camp Jackson will be about 41 officers and 1200 men.

The regiment will be routed to Camp Jackson via Raleigh, North Carolina and will be permitted to stop over in Raleigh for a reception and parade.

They will be delayed for about two or three days after arrival at Newport News in order for them to be disinfected.

The exact date of their arrival at Raleigh will be furnished you later. It is probable that it will be about March 25th.

Very truly yours,

P. C. Harris
The Adjutant General.
