Order &c, this 30th. day of Jany. 1761 By Virtue of His Majys Genl. Letters of Privy Seal bearing date the 5th. day of Novr. 1760 and in pursuance of a Warrant under his Royal Sign Manual dated the 29th day of the same Month That You deliver and pay of such his Majtys Treasure as remains in Your Charge unto Arthur Dobbs Esqr. Captn. General and Governor in Chief in and over the Province of North Carolina in America, or his Assignes the Sum of £250 without Acct. for one Quar. of a Year ended the 23d. day of August 1760 on the Yearly Salary of £1,000 granted by his late Majtys Letters of privy Seal (which upon his Demise became void) in lieu of a like Salary made payable Out of the Quit Rents of the said province And these &c. |
