George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c To the Sheriff of the County of Dobbs Greeting We Command You that of the Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements of Stephen Cade Esqr. late Sheriff of your Country you cause to be made the Sum of Fifteen Hundred and Fifty Pounds Ten Shillings Proc Money which lately before our Cheif Justice and his Associates Justices of our Superior Court &c at NewBern His Excellency Arthur Dobbs Esqr. Governor &c recovered agt. Him for Debt also the Sum of Four Pounds nine Shillings and Seven Pence Proc Money were adjudged and taxed to his said Excellency the Governor of his Costs in that behalf expended whereof the sd. Stephen is convicted on record besides your Fees for this Service and sd money safely keep so that you have it before our Cheif Justice and his Associates Justices of our Superior Court of Pleas and Grand Sessions to be held for our District of NewBern at the Court—house of ^in^ NewBern on the second Day of November next then and there to Render into our said Court the Debt and Costs aforesaid. Herein fail not and have you there this Writ. Witness Charles Berry Esqr. Cheif Justice of our said Province at NewBern the 11th. Day of May in 1st. Year of our Reign Anno Dom 1761
