Circular Letter to the Governors of His Majesty's Colonies, requiring a more regular and punctual Transmission of such papers are directed by His Majesty's Instructions to be transmitted to this Board.

To William Henry Lyttleton Esqr. Governor of Jamaica

It appearing upon a review of the papers upon record in our office that there has been great neglect and omission in not regularly transmitting the several papers and accounts required by His Majesty's Commission and Instructions to all his Governors in America, We must desire you will give due Attention to this essential Duty in so far as the Custody and transmission of the said papers depend upon yourself and that you will strictly command and require the Secretary, Clerks of the Council & Assembly, naval Officer and all other subordinate officers whose Duty it is to furnish these papers to be very exact & punctual in a regular & timely transmission of them.
