At an Inferior Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions begun & held at ^the Court House in^ Newbern in the County aforesaid on the second Tuesday of September AD 1775 Before his Majestys Justices for said County.

May it please your Worships

Abner Nash of the County aforesaid Gentleman gives your Worships to understand and be informed that a certain Nathaniel Guinn of the County aforesaid Labourer hath been guilty of trading with and buying a certain Quantity of Indigo from a negro man slave called Will the Property of your Informant, to the Value of ten pounds Proc. money contrary to law, wherefore your Complainant humbly prays that the legal Process may issue & the said Guinn be compelled to answer this Information and as in Duty bound your Informant shall ever pray.
