Superior Court, Fall Term 1872.
Be it remembered that at a Term of the Superior Court, begun and held for the County of Halifax, at the Court House in Halifax Town on the 12th Monday after the 2nd Monday of February, A.D. 1872 (it being the 4th day of November in said year.) Before His Honor Samuel W. Watts, Judge of said Court, the following named persons are convicted of Larceny and sentenced to the State Prison, as follows to-wit:
1. Demas Edmonds to two years - (colored)
2. Austin Edmonds to two years - (colored)
3. Charles Williams to two years - (white)
4. John Anderson to three years - (colored)
5. John Ried als. Jerry Palmer to five years - (colored)
I, John T. Gregory, Clerk of the Superior Court in and for the County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify that the foregoing contains a full, true and perfect list of the names of criminals sentenced by the Court to the State Prison Fall Term, A.D. 1872, of said Court.
