William Campbell Esqr. applied to this Court, on behalf of Frederick Gregg Esqr. Setting forth that a Negro fellow named Quame, belonging to said Gregg having been run away, & therupon duely Outlawed, and in attempting to take him, he Jumped into the North East river, & drowned himself; and the said facts having been properly proved to the Court, they are pleased to value t the said Negro fellow Quame at Eighty Pounds proclamation Money, and to Order that a Certificate thereof be prepared to lay before the General Assembly.
