At a Superior Court held for the County of Franklin at the Court house in Louisburg on the 1st monday after the fourth monday in September 1878 before his Honor John Kerr Judge Superior Court George Dent was Convicted of larceny and thereupon it was adjudged that the said George Dent be confined in the State Penitentiary for Four years at hard labor.
