Superior Court, Fall Term 1878
I C C Wade Clerk of the Superior Court in and for said County do hereby certify that at a Superior Court begun and held for said county on the 30th day of September AD 1878 It being the 1st Monday after the 4th Monday in September AD 1878 The Honorable David Schenck Judge of the 6th District presiding one Frank Butler a colord man was indicted for Larceny and put upon his before a Jury of his country men who returned a verdict of guilty.
Thereupon it was adjudged that the Defendant Frank Butler colored be sent to the States prison for the term of three years
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal of our said court at office in Troy this the 3rd day of October 1878
