His Majesty having been graciously pleased on the Resignation of Sir Thomas Robinson to honour me with the Office of His Principal Secretary of State for the Southern Department; I am to desire that you will for the future address your Letters to me, which you may be assured I shall punctually and regularly lay before the King, and transmit to You such Instructions and Orders, as His Maty may think proper to give for your Guidance & Direction;
