Having received last night by Express from Govr. Fauquier the Inclosed Packets to be forwarded to you, having an account of a Schooners being ready to Sail from Fort Johnston I send a messenger to try to overtake the vessel as the Speediest passage, but believe they are the same with mine Duplicates of the former along with which is an account of the Death of the Princess ^Royal^ Dowager of orange and the Appointment of Admiral Saunders to Command the fleet destined for our Service this Summer. By a private Letter from London it was Said there was to be a Motion made for the Distribution of the £50000 designd for our Southern Province. Brigr. Stanwix Commands in place of Mr Forbes deceased—
