Order &c; this 16th. day of July 1761 By Virtue of his Majys. Letters of Privy Seal bearing date the 3d. day of July 1761 That you deliver & pay of such his Majys. Treasure as remains in your charge unto Arthur Dobbs Esqr. Captn. Genl. & Governr. in Chief in & over the province of North Carolina in America or his Assigns the Sum of £500 without Accot. for ½ a year ended the 25th. day of April 1761 on the yearly Allowance or Salary of £1,000, in lieu of a like Salary payable out of the Quit Rents of the said province And these &c. £500 S. d.
