Sir,

I had you favour of the 6th. Int. I am much pleased to hear, that your Assembly is revived again and will again act for the good of our Province

Since you can now send Commissioners toward the Line I think the sooner the better, so that our Commissioners shall meet yours, as soon as you can send yours, giving me but four Day Notice; as the Place they set out from Little River is but one Days Journey from hence and then the can new Mark the Fees as you propose.

I shall send an equal Number of Whites & Blacks as you do and will send a very good Quadrant with our Surveyor to take the Latitude having an immediate Opportunity, yours may possibly set out by the End of next Week

I shall allways endeavour to concur with y[ou] for the good of both Provinces and to promote a Harmony with you, I approve of you delaying the Post untill October at which time this Assembly will meet and join in a proper Method in carrying it on I believe one in a fortnight will be sufficient

I am &ca &ca

Ar. Dobbs
