Nathan Everett came before us Justices Assignd to keep the Peace in said County, who being duly Sworn upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God Deposeth & Sayeth that about a Fortnight ago he was Sworn in to the Association by John Everett to keep a Secret who directed him to Legett who would give him further Information, that he Adminis the said Leggett Adminstred a second Constitution Oath to him which was to stand by the Constitution & not disclose it untile such Time as it was no matter who knew it which he said would not be long—& that this Deponent heard said Leggett offer to Thomas Rogers a Commission for a Sollicitor in this Society which said Rogers refus'd & further this Deponent sayeth not—
