My Dear Governor

I take the liberty to write you in regard to our Rail Road we feel like we have an excellent opprortunity of geting a Road into our County if the state will aid us in giving us more convicts and we Mountain People feel like we have a special friend as Govenor of this state and we further believe you can do us more good in securing us the additional convicts than any other living man. and we fully believe and trust that you will press our case before the state councill and in case you do we will receive the help we ask for we are very anxious to get in touch with our beloved state and we think now is the time to act with best wishes for your success and the success of your Administration
