The more we investigate the loss in this section the worse we find it, we have been over the whole field for several miles up and down the river, and it looks as if we will need at least $2500.00 in addition to the amount we now have.

Will be glad to hear from you early as possible regarding the matter. I understand there are a few people in town who we will be oblige to help, that we have not listed.
