I have not been able to find the name of John B. Murry on the rolls of the army of the revolution in this Office. I find John Murray enlisted as a private in Capt. Smith's company of the 4th. Regiment in 1777 for 3 years—made a Sergt. in Octor. 77—Colo. Middleton (I believe) was of So. Carolina.
