Kittrell Mundine was born in New Jersey in about 1720 and became a resident of Craven County, North Carolina by 1754. There he served in the French and Indian War and also was a member of a coroner's jury which investigated Joseph and Lydia Bembridge's deaths. He died in Jones County, North Carolina in about 1791.
