Biographical Description

James Robertson was born in Albemarle County, Virginia around 1759. He served as a private in one of the Kentucky regiments during the American Revolution. He is listed in the declaration of William McGehe's veteran's pension application as someone who can vouch for McGehe's military service; Robertson and McGehe are both associated to some degree with Colonel William Trigg. Robertson died in Breckinridge County, Kentucky in April 1836.
