Biographical Description

William Wyatt (died before 1762) was a resident of colonial Perquimans County. In 1755, he joined other merchants, traders, and planters in petitioning the Board of Trade for relief on trade restrictions. A local justice of the peace, in 1759 he presided over the freeholders' court, which heard cases involving enslaved people.
