Biographical Description

Thomas Weekes (died 1762) was a resident of colonial Perquimans County where he served as sheriff, justice of the court, and representative in the Assembly (1738-1739, 1746, & 1755-1760). In 1755, he joined other merchants, traders, and planters in petitioning the Board of Trade for relief on trade restrictions.
