Biographical Description
Charles FitzRoy (1683-1757), 2nd Duke of Grafton, was a British nobleman, politician, and army officer who served as a member of the Privy Council (appointed 1715), lord justice of Ireland (appointed 1715), lord lieutenant of Ireland (1720-1724), and lord justice of England (eleven terms between 1720 and 1755).
