John Gray Blount (21 September 1754-4 January 1833) was a merchant and planter from Bertie County. In 1777 he helped transmit information about the Gourd Patch Conspiracy to Governor Richard Caswell. He later became a politician, representing Beaufort County in the North Carolina General Assembly, Council of State, and at the state constitutional convention.
