Amburn, Luther Franklin

Biographical Description

Luther Franklin Amburn was born in Surry County, North Carolina, on May 26, 1886. Amburn was a hardware store proprietor in Boonville (Yadkin County). Following a devastating July 1916 flood, he served on the Boonville Relief Committee. Amburn died in Elkin (Surry County) on October 24, 1950.
