William Cruso Pearson was born in Wilkes County on February 14, 1874. He worked as a farmer and building contractor in North Wilkesboro. He was the co-founder of Kenerly and Pearson Contracting. He also owned an apple orchard in Brushy Mountain. He died in North Wilkesboro on December 10, 1935.
