Biographical Description

John Levi "Jack" Scott, Jr. was born in Graham (Alamance County), North Carolina on April 26, 1859. Scott was a cotton manufacturer and banker who served as a state senator (1913 & 1917) and as the director of the North Carolina School for the Deaf in Morganton (Burke County). He died in Greensboro (Guilford County) on February 18, 1924.
