Biographical Description

William Boyd was born in about 1754. A resident of Virginia, he served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution. He later moved to Fleming and Bath County, Kentucky where he worked as a shoemaker and made a sworn affidavit in support of his sister-in-law Mary Yarborough's widow's pension application. He died sometime after 1840.
