Biographical Description

William Arrington was a planter in Perquimans County, North Carolina. In 1759 when an enslaved man named Ben broke out of the Perquimans County jail, Alphin was one of the two men that recaptured him. The court later paid Arrington for this service. Arrington died sometime after 1778.
