Thomas Parsons was a resident of Craven County, North Carolina. Sometime before December 1775, Parsons purchased the labor of an enslaved man named Antonio Muray from Timothy Clear. In December 1775 Muray wrote a petition to the Craven County Court requesting that they grant him his freedom, because, among other reasons, Parsons treated him badly. Muray's petition was rejected. Parsons died in Craven in 1795.
