Biographical Description

James Bond was a resident of Chowan County, North Carolina. In March 1770, an enslaved man named Caesar was found guilty of murdering Bond, and the motive was not stated. Bond may have been the same individual that represented Chowan County in the North Carolina Colonial Assembly in 1764 and 1766.
