Sarah Alston married Josias Dupree in March 1751 in St. Thomas and St. Dennis Parish, South Carolina. Later the Duprees became residents of Brunswick County, North Carolina near Little River. Sarah survived her husband's death. An owner of enslaved people, Sarah Dupree received compensation after two of her enslaved people were found guilty of assisting in the murder of local planter Henry Williams and executed for the crime. Dupree died sometime after January 1779.
