Albertson, William

Biographical Description

William Albertson was born in Perquimans County, North Carolina, in 1724. A Quaker, he was appointed to appear before the NC General Assembly to defend a petition from the Eastern Quarter of Quakers advocating for the abolition of slavery in 1782. He died in Perquimans County around 1784.
