Biographical Description

Charles Reed Plott was born on January 18, 1880, in Virginia. Plott was an employee of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad who helped lead a movement to combat profiteering and overinflation of food, clothing, and housing in post-war (World War I) Wilmington. He died in Pinellas County, Florida, on December 20, 1942.
