Gilbert Elliot (1722-1777) was a British attorney and politician who held various offices over the course of his career, including lord of Admiralty (1756-1761), lord of Treasury (1761-1762), treasurer of the chamber (1762-1770), and treasurer of the navy (1770-1777).
