Biographical Description

Isaac Gill, Jr. was born on December 27, 1892 in Rhode Island. A West Point graduate and career army officer, Gill served as commanding officer of Camp Polk outside Raleigh, N.C., in the fall of 1918. He died at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, on September 14, 1977 having served his country in both World Wars.
